Andrea Piazza, PE has over twenty-five years of experience in civil engineering design and construction.  Andrea is responsible for interpretation of land use regulations, analysis and design of improvements and providing expert testimony at Planning and Zoning Board Hearings.  She also specializes in the preparation of Flood Hazard Area Verification and Individual Permit applications for submission to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.  Prior to founding Piazza Engineering, Andrea worked in civil and geotechnical engineering and construction management firms on public and private projects.  She is an active member of the Fair Lawn Green Team.  Andrea recently joined the United States Green Building Council and is working toward certification as a LEED Green Associate.  She has worked on sustainable projects that have included groundwater recharge, rain water harvesting, intensive and extensive green roofs and green walls.
